It was a fairly regular night at home, believe it or not. I was on my laptop, Star and Chaz were fighting back and forth, but then again… what’s new? Ryan had his mind… and body in an xbox game COD 3 it hasn’t been released yet. Haha goes to show that there are SOME benefits to having Justin as a friend. “No Star, it doesn’t work that way.” Chaz said, ignoring her. “Well Chaz … maybe if you would listen to me sometimes you would see that it DOES work that way. “ Star remarked, as the bickering continued to get louder and louder. “Oh dang, oh dang Snoop I’M GOING IN!” Ryan screamed at his tv screen. I took a second to shoot him a ‘ your’re an idiot’ look. “RYAN, will you cut that out!?” Pattie said angrily, as she took a seat next to me.
Elaina came out of the kitchen with a plate full of chicken nuggets,and macaroni on a tray. She took a seat on the floor, beside Melanie, and handed her dinner. “Mama, is it almost time?” Melanie said shoving a chicken nugget in her mouth, Elaina planted a kiss on her forehead. “Should be any minute now.” She said. A smile unfolded across Melanie’s face, as she continued to eat her dinner. Elaina got up, and sat in Justin’s recliner , closest to the couch… like she always does when he isn’t home. “So, Justin’s on his way?” Pattie asked. Elaina nodded. “He sent me a text to tell me he was leaving 20 minutes ago.” She said, rocking back and forth, eyes locking on Melanie.
“Well why do you stick around then? You’re obviously SO mistreated.” Chaz hissed. “Chaz Somers you know why I stick around!” Chaz responded simply by shoving his hand in her face. Just as he did that the front door swung open, and everyone fell silent. Melanie perked up immediately , and stared excitedly at her mother. Elaina nodded, and got up from the chair. We all watched with vigor as they ran to the door to greet Justin. “Well look.There’s my girls!” He said laughing. “Hey baby.” He added, giving Elaina a quick kiss, and then turned his attention to Melanie. “daddy,I waited on you all day!” she said. Justin laughed, and picked her up. “I missed you too, sweetheart.” He said, giving her a quick kiss as well.
I couldn’t help but noticing Ryan’s game was paused, and Star, and Chaz were acting like nothing ever happened. Justin, routinely carried Melanie over to his recliner, and sat him on her lap. Elaina followed, and sat on the opposite side of the couch, closest to the recliner “How was your day ?”Justin asked Melanie… like he always does. Like always, Melanie began telling about all of her adventures during the day, and accordingly ratting out every soul in the room, for something that happened that day. It really does make everyone happy to watch, even though it doesn’t take long for us to go back to fighting, playing video games, and doing senseless work.

It couldn't have possibley gone by more perfect. Everyone was home! (most of the time) and we got to do some things that a normal family would ACTUALLY do!
- a LOT of cooking... Mostly Aerie,Pattie, Melanie and I. Star helped with frosting and or tasting. Melanie learned how to bake cookies, and iced them and stuff! Didn't take long for the boys (Ben and Chaz) to eat em' which is probably why we kept making more and more!
- Raking. Raking was hard work, but Mel INSISTED on doing it herself, about an hour later Jason came out... and she sort of let him take over the yardwork. Turned out all she wanted to do was jump in the leaf pile (:
...Had to die to the fact that Justin wasn't going to be here much, with the concert and all. He surprised us, and took a week off... which was GREAT (;
 
We went camping.... disaster.
 
Halloween costume shopping tomorrow! excited excited excited!!
